摘要: The Drosophila wingless gene (wg) encodes a protein of the Wnt family and is critical regulator in many developmental processes1. Biochemical studies have indicated that heparan sulphate proteoglycans, consisting core to which glycosaminoglycans are attached2, important for Wg function3. Here we show that, consistent with these findings, sulfateless (sfl), homologue vertebrate N -deacetylase/N -sulphotransferase (an enzyme needed modification sulphate) essential signalling. We identified product division abnormally delayed (dally), glycosyl-phosphatidyl inositol (GPI)-linked glypican, as proteoglycan molecule involved Our results indicate Dally may act co-receptor Wg, Dally, together Frizzled 2, modulates both short- long-range activities Wg.
