摘要: Microsurgical vascular decompression (MVD) was used for 92 patients with trigeminal root entry zone (REZ) compression. In 2 patients, abnormal nerve roots were sectioned; 5 had extra-axial tumors, and 26 no apparent REZ pathology partial sensory rhizotomy (PSR). Mean follow-up months; 105 including those are pain-free. Nine have infrequent discomfort, requiring medication. 1 Eleven recurrence, 9 within year; 4 on medication 3 after reoperation Complications few. No patient died. Although PSR MVD equal efficacy, is favored to relieve neuralgia without loss.
