摘要: Fibromyalgia syndrome (FMS) is a prevalent musculoskeletal pain disorder characterized by diffuse and associated psychophysiological symptoms. Despite extensive research in the past 3 decades, etiology pathophysiology of FMS effective treatment approaches are yet to be delineated. Recently, it has been suggested that may related hypofunctional stress systems, particularly autonomic nervous system (ANS) hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal (HPA) axis. Studies have demonstrated patients with exhibit lowered sympathoadrenal reactivity stress. These findings seem consistent large volume indicating inverse relationship between sensitivity sympathetic reactivity. In this paper, we discuss role experience general, FMS, review studies evaluating ANS HPA functions response various stressors.
