摘要: Care delivery innovation is necessary to address the growing complexity of cancer care across specialties and integrate new diagnostics, treatments, services into delivery. Informed by Cancer Delivery Research (CCDR), multilevel intervention research, other disciplines, this article describes 4-step cycle. The cycle guides collaborative efforts clinicians, researchers, patients, stakeholders systematically define problems formulate, test, implement innovations effectively problems. We illustrate 4 steps with example developing 4R Oncology Model for colorectal (4R Right Information Patient at Time). a informed CCDR, team science, lessons learned from models, such as survivorship planning. offer additional considerations balancing need innovate concerns about constrained resources overextended workforce. suggest focus on models which are synergistic do not require extensive information systems support in earlier cycles development.
