摘要: The Charlevoix semi-circular structure, located 100 km northeast of Quebec City, possesses a rim 54 km in diameter, ring-shaped graben with outcrops Ordovician limestone, and an inner part flat or slightly undulating diameter 32 km, the middle which rises Mont des Eboulements. This is very fractured, contains shatter cones red green breccias aphanitic components. In central structure rocks contain small veinlets irregular masses pseudotachylite, minerals display deformation features typical subjected to violent shock. Quartz feldspar alteration have produced amorphous white substance. Heterogeneous fused are visible one outcrop blocks left by glacial erosion. This resembles other circular structures Quebec, particularly those West Clearwater Lake Lakes Manicouagan Mouchalagan. A volcanic origin suggested its location on margin St. Lawrenc...
