摘要: Abstract The behaviour of FCC polycrystals subjected to large strain uniform simple shear is first investigated. A rate-sensitive polycrystal model used compute the resulting axial and stresses on polycrystal, simulate texture evolution. Both “full constraint” “relaxed versions this are considered. rigorous analysis then carried out extend results case axially-constrained solid circular bars in torsion, where it assumed that bar has same polycrystalline properties as element analysed for shear. It shown predicted trends torsion can differ significantly from those simulated textures obtained with full constraint seen be better agreement experimental copper than by relaxed model.
