摘要: Abstract Organic matter in drinking water is determined by applying indirect determination methods used for quantitative measurements such as total organic carbon (TOC), chemical oxygen demand (COD), and biochemical (BOD). These analyses require expensive devices, harmful reagents, are time consuming. Standard quality tests inconvenient during start-up or reconstruction of treatment plants samples need to be transported a laboratory no on-line on plant performing efficiency available. For practical purposes, less sophisticated faster determine required. One the could ultraviolet absorption at 254 nm wavelength (UV254).
