摘要: This article discusses the potential of staff nurses to solve problems in clinical practice through research and promote research-based nursing practice. An example is provided that demonstrates how a nurse bridged research-to-practice gap by implementing animal-assisted therapy critical care setting. Patient satisfaction surveys indicate critically ill patients have benefitted from animal visits. Patients reported feeling more happy, calm, loved less lonely after innovation was implemented.
