摘要: Considering the environmental as well social impact of manufacturing systems besides economic criteria has become a major topic in research and industrial application last years. Production processes demand diverse materials energy for value creation. increasing relevance resource consumption, strategies to improve efficiency effectiveness their usage environments need be fostered alignment with premises sustainable development. However, focusing only on is rather shortterm thinking process. While striving towards more sustainability manufacturing, integration this issue into education engineering students key element long-term perspective. Against background, paper presents an educational structure concept new TU Braunschweig course Sustainability Engineering.
