摘要: The optimal management of the perineal defect following abdominoperineal excision for anorectal malignancy remains a source debate. repopularization extralevator resection means colorectal surgeons are confronted with larger wounds. There several surgical options available-primary closure and drainage, omentoplasty, biological or synthetic mesh placement, musculocutaneous flap repair, negative wound pressure therapy. These discussed along potential benefits complications each. no consensus on which strategy is superior; thus, each case must be tailored individual patient. Surgical expertise availability multidisciplinary team approach important considerations.
