摘要: Radioimmunoassay (RIA) systems have been developed to quantitate virtually every hormone available in pure form. This exquisitely sensitive technique has revolutionized the fields of endocrine physiology and clinical endocrinology. Bioassay techniques which employed for many years are not sufficiently measure accurately all anterior pituitary hormones plasma; development RIAs biologic fluids tissues permitted studies greatly expanded our knowledge factors involved synthesis, metabolism, action. A chapter on general principles would disadvantage being repetitive, several excellent reviews this topic already literature.
