摘要: Clavibacter michiganensis subsp. is the causal agent of bacterial wilt and canker in tomato (Lycopersicon esculentum). Specific detection this important pathogen was possible using Southern hybridization with DNA-probes derived from plasmid-borne genes, celA encoding an endocellulase pat-I involved pathogenicity. The probe differentiated C. m. michiganensis, insidiosus, nebraskensis, tessellarius, sepedonicus; moreover, pat-1 distinguished virulent avirulent strains michiganensis. A polymerase chain reaction based on primers region developed. Virulent were detectable homogenates prepared infected plants, naturally contaminated seeds, healthy lant containing as few 2 × 10 bacteria per milliliter
