STARD 2015 for the evaluation of diagnostic tests

摘要: Each year, many new diagnostic tests appear on the market that claim to be better, faster, cheaper, less invasive and more reliable than those already available. Diagnostic accuracy studies can assist in objective assessment of such claims but, unfortunately, important information is often missing from corresponding study reports. Authors are responsible for completeness their reports, but they may not always aware type needs provided an adequate appraisal study. To authors writing informative STAndards Reporting (STARD) were recently updated. The aim STARD 2015 improve ease use STARD, while also including several crucial elements. Future initiatives uptake include development extensions specific fields testing tools user groups.
