摘要: Abstract Gold was deposited on Pt(100) and platinum onto a Au(100) single crystal surface. The variation of the reactivity these surfaces with coverage adsorbate metal studied using cyclohexene dehydrogenation to benzene as test reaction. reactions were carried out 6 × 10 −8 Torr (8.0 −6 Pa) in hydrogen partial pressure 1 (1.3 −4 at 373 K. It found that surface is enhanced about six-fold by deposition just one monolayer gold itself not measurably active under reaction conditions. When exceeds decreases. causes an increase until broad maximum reached 1.5–2 layers platinum. At this six times larger than Beyond three four layers, decreases slowly increasing approaches clean
