摘要: Nitric oxide (NO·) and related chemical species have emerged as ubiquitous cellular messengers. This smallest known mammalian biological signaling molecule plays a crucial role in human physiology. NO· is synthesized by the enzyme nitric synthase (NOS) can assume several forms, each of which has its own reactive specificity toward targets. The resulting interaction initiates many events cell. NO·-induced signal transduction gene expression influences various physiological including vasodilation, cytotoxicity, inflammation, synaptic plasticity.
