Temperature effect on thermal-diffusivity and heat-capacity and derived values of thermal-conductivity of reservoir rock materials

摘要: A laser flash method (micro-flash apparatus LFA 457) and differential scanning calorimeter (DSC 204 F1) were employed to study of the temperature effect on thermophysical properties (thermal diffusivity $$a$$, heat capacity $$C_{\text{P}}$$ thermal conductivity $$\lambda$$) natural reservoir rock sample. relationship between behavior physical–chemical processes decomposition pore heavy oil volatilization fluids) occurring in rock’s fluids during heating distinct ranges was established. The measurements thermal-diffusivity have been made over range from 295 774 K. isobaric capacities (CP) same sample measured 308 768 K. Uncertainties are 3% 1% for $$a$$ $$C_{\text{P}}$$, respectively. significant values heat-capacity at high temperatures (above 680 K) experimentally found. We observed anomaly ranges, around 380 K (low-temperature range) 680 K (high-temperature range).We attribute these anomalies dehydration (evolution volatile matter, VM, devolatilization) aromatization carbon decomposition), which known occur under treatment. This leads unusual increasing temperatures. Measured ($$a$$) ($$C_{\text{P}}$$) together with density data ($$\rho = { 2210}\;{\text{kg}}\;{\text{m}}^{ - 3}$$) used calculate derived key properties, conductivities ($$\lambda$$) sample, using very well-known relation, $$\lambda a\rho C_{\text{P}}$$.
