摘要: Background Evidence relating to the effect of early weaning on infant weight and gain is conflicting. The aim this paper compare in two groups infants; one group weaned before 4 months (early weaned), other at or after. Methods Feeding practices were assessed through semistructured interviews with mothers 1-year-old infants. Weight birth, 8 weeks 7 taken from an administrative database (Child Health System), additional measure was 14 months. Results Infants heavier months, gained more between even after breastfeeding controlled for. Conclusion Early related rapid infancy. This may have implications for childhood obesity.
