摘要: The aim of this study is to investigate the effect semisolid processing on wear behavior Al-25 wt% Mg2Si composite. In order fabricate composite, a cooling slope method was used. After casting slope, reheating in temperature range done and samples obtained were thixoformed using hydraulic press. To assess properties these samples, dry sliding tests pin-on-disc carried out at three different applied loads. determine chemical composition phases surfaces, energy-dispersive spectroscopy (EDS) scanning electron microscopy (SEM) analyses out. results showed that resistance deformed better than conventional ones. addition, sample cast through with modified aluminum matrix particles has worn surface less damage compared conventionally sample.
