Mössbauer effects studies and magnetic properties of GdFe11Ti and GdFe11TiH1−δ

摘要: Abstract Structural and magnetic properties of GdFe 11 Ti were studied the corresponding hydride composition TiH 1− δ was prepared by solid gas reaction with hydrogen gas. The lattice constants as well saturation magnetization Curie temperature have been determined compared for both compounds. 155 Gd Mossbauer spectroscopy experiments performed on these materials. An analysis effect hyperfine parameters has undertaken. In contrast to carbon or nitrogen insertion, is found increase electric field gradient at nuclei. results are discussed effects H, C N insertions in R 2 Fe 17 structure (R a rare-earth element). Modification isomer shift observed upon hydrogenation analyzed terms electronic charge transfer from 6s orbitals onto H atoms.
