摘要: Atomic force microscopy (AFM) measurements were employed to assess polymer-surface interfacial interaction strength. The main feature of the measurement is use contact-mode AFM as a tool scratch off polymer monolayer adsorbed on solid surface. Tapping-mode was used determine depth scraped recess. Independent determination layer thickness obtained from optical phase interference (OPIM) confirmed scratch. required for complete removal with no apparent damage substrate surface determined. Polypropylene (PP), low-density polyethylene (PE), and PP-grafted-maleic anhydride (PP-g-ma) silane-treated glass slabs, strength In all cases it determined that magnitude order van der Waals (VDW) interactions. influenced either by ability wet (hydrophobic or hydrophilic interactions) hydrogen bonding between treatment.
