Estimation of polymer-surface interfacial interaction strength by a contact AFM technique.

摘要: Atomic force microscopy (AFM) measurements were employed to assess polymer-surface interfacial interaction strength. The main feature of the measurement is use contact-mode AFM as a tool scratch off polymer monolayer adsorbed on solid surface. Tapping-mode was used determine depth scraped recess. Independent determination layer thickness obtained from optical phase interference (OPIM) confirmed scratch. required for complete removal with no apparent damage substrate surface determined.
