Compact dual‐band bandpass filter using uniform‐impedance resonators and dual‐mode resonator

摘要: This article presents a compact dual-band bandpass filter (BPF) using pair of one-end shorted uniform-impedance resonators (SUIRs) and single dual-mode resonator (DMR). A SUIRs with mixed electric magnetic coupling (MEMC) not only realizes the lower passband but also serves as feeding lines source-load to excite DMR produce upper passband. Four transmission zeros due cancelling effect MEMC, harmonic effect, coupling, inherent property improve selectivity, band-to-band isolation, out-of-band rejection. As an example, BPF operating at 1.57/2.4 GHz size 0.1λg × 0.127λg is designed fabricated. The simulation agrees very well measurement. © 2016 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
