摘要: Abstract The structural, electrical, magnetic, and thermal properties of electron beam (EB) irradiated PrMnO3 manganites were investigated in the present communication. X-ray diffraction data reveals that all samples are single phased with orthorhombic distorted structure (Pbnm). Furthermore, diffracted analyzed detail using Rietveld refinement technique. It is observed EB dosage feebly disturbs MnO6 octahedra. electrical resistivity exhibits semiconducting behavior. Small polaron hopping model conveniently employed to investigate nature pristine as well samples. Seebeck coefficient (S) exhibit large positive values at lower temperatures, signifying holes dominant charge carriers. analysis confirms small mechanism assists thermoelectric transport property high temperature region. magnetic measurements confirm existence paramagnetic (PM) ferromagnetic (FM) behavior for In regime, coexistence FM clusters AFM matrix dominating. Thus, complex compound has been explained terms rearrangement antiferromagnetically coupled ionic moments.
