摘要: The mechanics of equal channel angular extrusion (ECAE) in a rectangular die was studied by upper bound method and rigid block model deformation with two variables (two degrees freedom). appearance dead zone the external corner assumed verified physical simulation using plasticine as modeling material. obtained dependences ECAE pressure, total shear geometrical parameters upon friction factor were compared corresponding results analysis one variable (one degree freedom) slip line published authors elsewhere. It demonstrated that an increase freedom from to much better approximation reference data analysis. believe numbers flexibility generally leads accuracy other metal forming processes well. As example, pressure aluminum 6061 alloy calculated experimental literature. A good agreement between them found. importance consideration inlet outlet channels emphasized.
