摘要: Friction stir welding has been successfully used to weld the dissimilar metals. A few investigations have carried out on friction lap of Al Cu, but basic issue how position metals would affect joint strength is still not resolved. In present study, 7070 and commercially pure copper are joined using technology. Two test cases considered. The distinction refers with respect Cu. Microstructural analyses gain intermetallic compounds some microcracks. effect materials heat generation investigated justified through temperature measurements. Mechanical properties each sample characterized both shear hardness tests. results reveal that maximum fracture load obtained when placed top
