摘要: In this paper, scientific achievements, present status and future plans are presented. ALIS has been used to study a number of optical phenomena in the atmosphere including aurora, meteors polar stratospheric clouds. made first unambiguous observations Radio-induced emissions at high latitudes detection water Leonid meteor trail. The (2006) incarnation consists six stations, spaced about 50 km. Each station CCD imager with six-position filter wheel equipped narrow-band interference filters. field-of- view is roughly half all-sky. A positioning system enables imaging from several sites overlapping fields-of-view for any desired part sky thus making triangulation tomography possible. whole can be remote controlled. Present work include studies collaboration Japanese satellite Reimei auroral fine structures, EISCAT other ground-based instruments, activities during International Polar Year, IPY.
