摘要: Microfibril angle (MFA) is an important ultrastructural feature of the wood cell wall that provides insight into tree growth and quality. Unfortunately, it a property whose value sensitive to method measurement. The aims this study are clarify compare variation MFA in Chinese fir [Cunninghamia lanceolata (Lamb.) Hook.] plantation trees by using pit aperture (PA) X-ray diffraction (XRD) methods. A decrease average from 25° 12° as determined PA 15° 9° XRD was shown ring 2 26. When measured at various stem heights up 5.3 m, decreased 18° XRD. results show tended measure lower values both juvenile mature than PA. majority within-tree mainly attributed difference between wood.
