It is consensus opinion investigators that, while there may be variations in some localities, three well-defined stages Triturus, namely (1) a larval water stage, at least one summer duration; (2) terrestrial lasting two to or four years; (3) an adult, stage which probably extends until death. The color bright red as compared with olive green stages. Larvae, hatching from eggs laid spring, transform into late August September migrate land. After sojourn years on land they back water, developing way, after get familiar characters adult.
