摘要: Abstract Cholesteatomas may occur in any part of the cranial vault and relation to brain. They have been found frontal, temporal, parietal, occipital lobes one instance reported here a large parietal cholesteatoma was operated on. lie outside brain substance, grow slowly, excavate area tissue making bed for tumor. At base they are suprasellar region, next pons (parapontile), cerebellopontile angle, fourth ventricle. In none areas these tumors characterized by typical history or characteristic findings which enable make preoperative diagnosis. do, however, give signs tumor affected. be diagnosed therefore only at operation. Only skull cholesteatomas before operation, since roentgenographic picture. Operation cases offers good hope cure provided all its capsule can removed intact. If is not recurrence certain.
