摘要: The astrophysical $S$-factor for the radiative proton capture reaction on $^7$Be ($S_{17}$) at low energies is affected by $s$-wave scattering lengths. We report measurement of elastic and inelastic cross sections $^7$Be+p system in center-of-mass energy range 0.474 - 2.740 MeV angular 70$^\circ$- 150$^\circ$. A radioactive beam produced Oak Ridge National Laboratory's (ORNL) Holifield Radioactive Ion Beam Facility was accelerated bombarded a thin polypropylene (CH$_{2}$)$_\text n$ target. Scattered ions were detected segmented Silicon Detector Array. Using an $\textit{R}$-matrix analysis ORNL Louvain-la-Neuve section data, lengths channel spins 1 2 determined to be 17.34$^{+1.11}_{-1.33}$ -3.18$^{+0.55}_{-0.50}$ fm, respectively. uncertainty reported this work smaller factor 5-8 compared previous measurement, which may reduce overall $S_{17}$ zero energy. level structure $^8$B discussed based upon results from work. Evidence existence 0$^+$ 2$^+$ levels 1.9 2.21 MeV, respectively, observed.
