摘要: Abstract The effects of cortisol on the spontaneous activity single cells and their responsiveness to sensory stimuli were studied in anterior-tuberal posterior hypothalamus rats under urethane anesthesia compared nontreated animals. It was found that hormone increased average rate firing both hypothalamus. While caused a predominant increase cell hypothalamus, cortisol-treated there an decrease unit discharge. On other hand treated animals produced firing. When evaluated total population by determining changes coefficient variation proportion time intervals within main mode time-interval histogram, it modified anterior but not hypothalamic neurones when possible relations these electrophysiological findings negative feedback exerted adrenocortical hormones at levels, regulation ACTH secretion, are discussed.
