A long-term, double-blind, placebo-controlled crossover trial of the efficacy of fluoxetine for trichotillomania.

摘要: Objective : The authors' objective was to determine the efficacy of fluoxetine at high doses for treatment trichotillomania in a long-term, double-blind, placebo-controlled crossover trial. Method Twenty-three adult chronic hair pullers agreed take part trial, taking up 80 mg/day. 31-week trial consisted 2-week washout phase, first phase 12 weeks, 5-week and second weeks.
