摘要: Abstract The plasma concentration profiles of fenbendazole (FBZ), FBZ-sulphoxide and FBZ-sulphone were measured following intraruminal administration FBZ at 7.5 mg kg−1 body weight in cattle buffalo offered 3 different diets: 100% dry mature sorghum hay, green Pennisetum spp. a 50:50 mix these 2 diets. Changing the diet from to fodder resulted significantly lower systemic availability its metabolites both species. Buffalo had drug than on difference between species increased when included fodder. It is suggested that decreased transit time digesta reduced concentrations by reducing available for gastrointestinal absorption drug.
