摘要: Concentrations of fecal indicator bacteria (FIB; e.g. Escherichia coli, and Enterococcus sp.) can only be used in limited ways for determining the source contamination recreational waters because they cannot distinguish human from non-human contamination. Several Bacteroides spp. have been suggested as potential alternative indicators. We developed a rapid, culture-independent method quantifying using quantitative PCR (QPCR) targeting 16S rRNA gene. The assay specifically targets quantifies most common details are presented, including analyses wide range samples different organisms. Specificity performance QPCR were also tested via laboratory experiment where sewage gull guano inoculated into environmental water samples. spp., total sp., faecium, faecalis, casseliflavus measured QPCR, sp. E. coli quantified by membrane filtration (MF). Samples spiked with highly concentrated casseliflavus, demonstrating that these indicators prominent animal feces. On other hand, concentrations high containing relatively low guano. Sensitivity specificity results suggest rapid may useful tool to effectively predict presence concentration human-specific pollution.
