摘要: Electrohydrodynamically (EHD) enhanced convective boiling, based on the extraction phenomenon, is experimentally investigated. The working fluids are R-134a and R-404A refrigerants. Both smooth tubes investigated in a horizontal configuration. heat transfer enhancement suppression with corresponding pressure-drop data presented. ratio of EHD power consumption relative to transferred was less than 1.5% for A theoretical analysis presented determine contributing terms consumption, it determined that electric conduction mechanism primary factor current flow. transient application EHD, case resulted under steady-state conditions, provided enhancements boiling tube. Additionally, applicability phenomenon discussed.
