摘要: Abstract It is suggested that the accumulation of peat deposits and other organic sediment may be a clue to timing moister periods in late Quaternary climatic history southern Africa. Data presented from 26 sites across sub-continent point two during which sedimentation commenced, suggesting Pleistocene period mid-late Holocene when conditions also became more conducive formation. Owing confusing conflicting nature palaeoenvironmental information, chronologies seem provide additional insight into environmental Africa implications this are discussed.
