摘要: A method of producing self-texturing filaments that exhibit a desirable tendency to coil rather than bend sharply or zig zag. The includes directing quenching fluid at extruded hollow liquid polymer predominantly from one side the thereby produce with different orientations on each side. Thereafter temperature is raised sufficient for relax, but less which would shrink. When relaxed are cut into staple lengths, they tend assume form provides favorable degree mechanical entanglement useful in forming resilient solid structures.
