摘要: Transmission ultrasound computer-assisted tomography has been developed for detection and diagnosis of cancer in the breast. Pulses (8 MHz ±3 MHz) are transmitted through breast a coronal plane from plurality directions. The received signal is processed arrival time changes amplitude. measured values attenuation used convolution-back projection reconstruction algorithm to obtain estimates two-dimensional distribution acoustic speed within scanned planes Over 1000 images breasts approximately 150 patients have whom 30 had biopsy proven cancer. Some common characteristics reconstructed which associated with 1) increased relative embedding tissue 2) decreased central region lesion usually 3) ring higher at border lesion. Current sensitivity specificity this system approaching those X-ray mammography techniques.
