摘要: Metal-free azo compounds of the formula ##STR1## wherein Ra is an aromatic group or active methylene coupling component radical as defined in specification, Rt arylazo a --Y--Z, Y direct bond bridging radical, and Z basic amino quaternary ammonium group, ##STR2## each variables above below, x hydrogen, hydroxy, C1-4 alkyl, alkoxy, carboxy, ring B further unsubstituted substituted, d 0, 1 2, n 0 1, with provisos that (i) contain average at least 1.3 water-solubilizing groups, (ii) are free sulfo 1:1 1:2 metal complexes thereof, which metal-free useful dyes for leather paper.
