摘要: Vascular endothelial growth factor C (VEGF-C) is the only known to cause lymphangiogenesis. We studied correlation between VEGF-C and vascular receptor-3 (VEGFR-3) expression of 85 primary gastric cancers by reverse transcriptase-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) immunohistochemistry, results were correlated with number lymphatic vessels, stained anti-VEGFR-3 antibody. RT-PCR immunohistology demonstrated that was mainly produced from cancer cells, but not stromal elements. Morphologically, VEGFR-3 detected in cells vessels. There a statistically positive incidence mRNA tumours (P=0.0002). The VEGFR-3-positive vessels significantly larger than VEGF-C-negative tumours. tumour stroma closely related grade invasion cancer. These strongly indicate may induce proliferation via activation VEGFR-3, expressed on In these circumstances, can easily invade vessel, because increase contact points
