摘要: The profound changes that have affected agriculture in modern times are perhaps best illustrated by the evolution of production techniques due to mechanization, new chemical inputs such as herbicides, pesticides and fertilizers, genetic selection crops animals, crop varieties, countless other technical organizational improvements. These innovations allowed a generalized increase physical output while, at same time, has suffered massive exodus labor forces towards non-farm sectors. Indeed, stylized fact developed countries’ post-war growth is productivity grown faster than sectors (Jorgenson Gollop, 1992). This remarkable record naturally begs question what its root, view commands considerable consensus agricultural (past) investments scientific research development (R&D).
