摘要: The classical multidimensional scaling (MDS) method is introduced and applied in the study of hour-to-hour ionospheric variability based on foF2 observed at three ionosonde stations East-Asia 2002 2007. Results from matrix eigen decompositions indicate that annual part variation large middle latitude solar maximum period (2002) while low minimum (2007). connectivity maps MDS show some common diurnal features. between adjacent hours near noon midnight high. sunrise sunset poor, especially for hours. Also there are latitudinal activity dependences this kind connectivity. These results revealed useful physically practice forecasting scale.
