AntVMp: An Approach for Energy-Efficient Placement of Virtual Machines Using Max–Min Ant System

摘要: The demands for Internet services are rapidly increasing in almost all the sectors which provided through cloud datacenters. Cloud datacenters equipped with high-end servers or physical machines (PMs) that execute user requests using virtual (VMs). These consume enormous amounts of energy processing as well cooling equipment. Energy consumption (EC) also impacts climate production carbon traces. In proposed work, this problem has been addressed an ant-based meta-heuristic approach (AntVMp). Our work mainly focused on offline placement VMs datacenter to maintain energy. AntVMp is compared other VM heuristic methods and results state significantly improves system performance terms EC.
