摘要: The multiple-Doppler synthesis and continuity adjustment technique (MUSCAT), developed for at least a pair of Doppler observations, is based on both simultaneous resolution the equations relating wind components to measured radial velocities equation, use second-order derivatives in cost function. It has been solve geometrical limitations that result from dual-Doppler radar configuration, successfully applied airborne equipped fore-aft scanning. This paper intends show performance this method case differing geometry ground-based system, using simulated data deduced an analytical field. shown constraint allows also obtain reliable vectors outside lobes, i.e., regions along baseline where ill-conditioned analysis occurs.
