摘要: Acoustic one-way manipulations have recently attracted significant attention due to the deep implications in many diverse fields such as biomedical imaging and treatment. However, previous mechanisms of asymmetric manipulation airborne sound need use elaborate heavyweight structures only work certain frequency ranges. We propose a mechanism for designing an ultra-lightweight optically transparent structure with transmission property normally incident plane waves. Instead fabricating solids into complicated artificial limited bandwidth heavy weight, we simply xenon fill spatial region shape which allows wave pass along one direction while reflecting reversed regardless frequency. demonstrate both analytically numerically its effectiveness producing highly-asymmetric within ultra-broad band. Our design offers new possibility devices may far-reaching impact on various scenarios noise control.
