摘要: Not only that tremendously increased employment of power electronics in the energy production, transfer, and consumption enables a sustainable future, it undoubtedly brings major savings stimulating improvements people's quality life. But not for “free”. This trend is considerably changing nature sources loads electrical grid, altering their mild properties, inflicting low-frequency dynamic interactions did exist conventional system before. To be able to understand, analyze, design, dynamically control existing future systems, unarguably required develop concepts tools offer better insights into system-level behavior stability grid. paper presents impedance measurement unit can address some listed needs by characterizing in-situ source load impedances sub-transmission medium-voltage networks (up 69 kV). In addition describing this shows experimental results obtained with prototype built 4.16 kV, capable distribution systems up 2.2 MVA.
