摘要: The human body is home to a complex and diverse microbial ecosystem that plays central role in host health. This includes diversity of fungal species collectively referred as our 'mycobiome'. Although research into the mycobiome still its infancy, potential disease increasingly recognised. Here we review existing literature available on mycobiota with an emphasis gut mycobiome, including how fungi interact other microbes. In doing so, provide comprehensive critique methodologies well highlighting latest findings from mycological surveys different groups interest infants, obese inflammatory bowel cohorts. turn provides new insights directions for future studies this burgeoning area.
