摘要: We investigated the effects of herbicide thiobencarb on growth, photosynthetic activity, and expression profile photosynthesis-related proteins in marine diatom Thalassiosira pseudonana. Growth rate was suppressed by 50% at a concentration 1.26 mg/L. photosystem II activity (Fv/Fm ratio) were drastically decreased 5 mg/L, which levels 13 increased significantly those 11 significantly. Among these proteins, level Rieske iron-sulfur protein to less than half control level. This is an essential component cytochrome b6f complex electron transport chain. Although mechanism not clear, results suggest that growth inhibited interruption chain thiobencarb. © 2013 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
