摘要: Doping of titania nanotubes is one the efficient way to obtain improved physical and chemical properties. Through electrochemical anodization annealing treatment, Ni-doped TiO2 nanotube arrays were fabricated their hydrogen sensing performance was investigated. The sensor demonstrated a good sensitivity for wide-range detection both dilute high-concentration atmospheres ranging from 50 ppm 2% H2. A temperature-dependent 25°C 200°C also found. Based on experimental measurements first-principles calculations, electronic structure properties with an anatase It reveals that Ni substitution Ti sites could induce significant inversion conductivity type effective reduction bandgap oxide. calculations reveal resistance change with/without absorption closely related especially Ni-induced impurity level.
