摘要: According to various data, snoring may affect about 2 billion people worldwide, with 8 million adult in Poland being estimated snore. Apart from disturbing for other people, it brings a measurable risk the patient, which results transient anoxia. As consequence, increase of arterial hypertension, myocardial infarction, cerebral stroke and impotency, as well mental disturbances like depression or anxiety states. The physician patient consult first instance is laryngologist. He determines whether upper airway obturation (in contrast central sleep apnea) dealt with, takes decision treatment method, redirects another specialist.
