摘要: The aim of this study is to develop low density polyethylene (LDPE) / Palm Pressed Fibre (PPF) biocomposite film which used as semi-degradable black bag for nursery planting application. Few formulations with fixed PPF dosage were designed in study. Silane was coupling agent at same loading all while glycerol plasticizer different dosage. Effects and alkali treatment on LDPE/PPF analyzed. All blends compounded twin screw extruder extrusion blown into sample. Samples properties including melt flow index (MFI), Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR), mechanical, water absorption biodegradability test conducted. MFI found not far than pure LDPE. Both has affected the where helped increase but declining MFI. Tensile property drastically reduced incorporation prove that failed reinforce improved treated (TPPF) do showed significant impact. Alkali had resistance uptake shown lower weight loss test.
